Last weekend when I was went out and kick sled with the dog, I passed this happy pigs that enjoyed the spring sunshine.
Linderod pigs are happiest when they are outdoors, even in winter, and has retained its natural resistant behavior. Linderod Pig originates in the old Swedish forest pig that roamed in southern Sweden beech and oak forests until the end of the 1800s. The old landrace grows significantly slower than fattening pig but they are hardy and able to seek their own food. Weight: Galt about 250 kg, about 150 kg sow.
Height: 1 m. Number of kids: 4-12 piglets.
Life expectancy: 8-10 years, sometimes up to 20.
Eats: Omnivorous, but most plants
